Shopify to Meta Conversions API Integration

Send your Shopify conversion events to Meta through the Conversions API, with server-side tracking, event deduplication, and first-party attribution.

  • Server-side Conversions API
  • Event deduplication
  • Shopify order data
  • Meta attribution

What's connected

Shopify supplies the order and customer data. TrueTracked matches the event to the visit that produced it. Meta receives the conversion.

What Shopify adds to Meta

Sending conversions server-side is only half of it. These four come from Shopify knowing things about the order that a browser pixel never sees.

Deduplicated with proper event IDs

Every event carries a proper event ID that both the browser pixel and the server send, so Meta recognises the two as one conversion and counts the sale once.

The currency the shopper actually paid in

Orders are sent in the currency the shopper actually paid in, so the value and currency match what your browser pixel already reported and Meta never sees a mismatch.

New customers from Shopify's own record

NewCustomerPurchase and ReturnCustomerPurchase are decided by Shopify's customer record, not only by orders TrueTracked has seen, so they are correct from day one on a store with existing history.

Shop Pay orders still reach Meta

One-tap checkouts never touch the normal checkout flow, so there is no checkout to match against. Those orders are recognised from the shopper's cart and reach Meta like any other sale.

Shopify events sent to Meta

The commerce events, and what travels with each. Page views, searches and lead events map across too, and every mapping is editable.

Counted once, not twice

Every event carries a proper event ID that both the browser pixel and the server send, so Meta recognises them as one conversion. A sale can never land twice.

Setting it up

Connect Shopify so TrueTracked receives your orders, then connect Meta so those orders are sent on. Each is a one-time setup, and neither needs a developer.

Shopify and Meta, answered

Common questions about sending Shopify orders to the Meta Conversions API.

Both ends. Shopify as the source, so TrueTracked receives your orders, and Meta as the destination, so those orders are sent on to the Conversions API. Each is set up once from your dashboard.

No. TrueTracked loads the Meta pixel itself and pairs every browser event with a matching server event, so Meta counts each conversion once. Disconnect any other tool loading the same pixel, since its events carry different IDs and cannot be deduplicated against ours.

The eight default mappings, covering page views through to purchase. You can change any mapping, send one event to several Meta events, or point one at a custom Meta event name.

No. Tracking runs on Shopify Customer Events, which every Shopify plan includes.
